Hilmi Mert is a registered attorney at law before İzmir Bar Association and joined Kenaroğlu Avukatlık Bürosu as Senior Associate in 2022 after working on a managing position in a reputable IP firm for six years.

His practice is focused on enforcement and brand protection and covers representation of the clients in market investigations, criminal cases before the IP courts of First Instance and Courts of Appeal, handling and managing customs proceedings and trainings and conducting criminal raids and seizures within the scope of determination and cessation of IP rights violations.

He has been representing foreign and domestic clients in various industries including fashion, automotive, cosmetics, alcoholic beverages, food and media on every aspect of trademark, design, copyright and unfair competition issues from administrative to judicial phases.
