He graduated with an honours degree from Koc University Faculty of Law with a minor in Philosophy.

While still continuing his legal internship, Onur takes part in administrative proceedings before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, as well as judicial proceedings before the Civil and Criminal IP Courts.
